Helping you find available zookeeper positions
KEEP is the UK’s first official Zookeeper Exchange Programme, where keepers can work for a few days at other collections to learn skills and develop their animal husbandry knowledge.
The KEEP programme allows zookeepers to gain first-hand experience with different animal species, from big cats to primates and everything in between.
Through this programme, zookeepers can broaden their experience by working with a variety of animals and gain hands-on experience in different environments. Zookeepers can also learn about different approaches to animal nutrition, enrichment, and medical care depending on the collection they visit.
This exchange programme offers an excellent opportunity for zookeepers to learn from each other and share their expertise. Moreover, the exchange of ideas and techniques can benefit not only the keepers themselves, but also the animals in their care. By participating in the KEEP programme, zookeepers can enhance their knowledge and make themselves more valuable assets in the field of animal care.
